The Emergency Service Divisions, otherwise known as Operations, carries out the primary functions of Highlands Fire District. The focus of Operations is to protect and preserve life and property. Operations depend heavily upon the front line performance of the firefighter crews on the engines first responding to the scene of an emergency. Our personnel are highly qualified individuals who continually train in the techniques, dangers, and ever changing technologies within the scope of the services we provide. The diverse nature of our emergency assignments have resulted in the development of programs to accommodate the needs of the communities we serve.
Highlands Fire District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
