The Highlands Fire District Honor Guard plays a crucial role in honoring fallen firefighters, their families, and our department members—both past and present. Their mission is to represent the department with exceptional discipline and honor during ceremonial functions. At funeral services for active and retired personnel, the Honor Guard conducts themselves with respect, dignity, and compassion, providing comfort to the survivors. They project a positive image of our department by participating in local, state, and national events as a well-trained professional team.
